The Hagar Qim Temples of Malta are a fine example of a Pre-historic megalithic building. The Neolithic Temple culture arrived in Malta around 6100 years ago. 500 years after their arrival on Malta, they started building impressive megalithic temples, which are up to date, shrouded in a cloud of mystery. The heaviest stone found on Malta used in the temple construction weighs around 20.000 kilos. On the picture you can see part of the outer wall of the Hagar Qim temples which were built around 5000 years ago.
