The Spotted Eagle-owl is found in Africa and parts of Arabia.
They prefer rocky areas.
It is one of the most common large owls of Africa.
They are most active at dusk and night, and then hunt
on small mammals, lizards, large insects and occasionally birds.
They have a gray or reddish brown color and are about 42 centimeters. They have yellow eyes.
They build their nests on the ground, between or among rocks.
