symbool weetje Did you know that the William's bridge is called 'The Golden Gate bridge' of Rotterdam ?

The William's bridge (Willemsbrug) was built in 1981. He had two predecessors, the first dating back to 1878. The bridge was named after William III. The bridge goes over the Nieuwe Maas and connects the center with the North Island. The steel cable-stayed bridge is 34 meters wide and 270 meters long.
